Rock Hill man holds woman for hours, forces her to take nude photos

The Rock Hill Police Department arrested a local man on multiple charges after they said he held his girlfriend captive for hours, assaulted her, and forced her to take nude pictures.

Officers said around 5 a.m. Friday, September 2 they were called to the corner of Cherry Road and Oakland Avenue in reference to help Winthrop police catch a 'suspect that was running'.

Upon arrival, a woman told police the father of her child beat her and did not let her leave the home for five hours. She said the man, identified as Eric Patton, thought she was heaving a sexual relationship with his cousin.

Patton allegedly told her he was not going to let her leave the residence until "she admitted what she did."

The woman told police Patton struck her in the face multiple times with a closed fist. Police said the woman had a swollen upper lip and a swollen right eye with apparent bruising.

She told officers Patton also made her take nude photos of herself with a camera phone. Patton would not let her call 911 for help or leave the residence. The woman also said Patton tied her hands up with a jacket for about 10 minutes and repeatedly told her during the five hour period that he was going to kill her.

Rock Hill police said Patton and the woman do have a child together but the child was in DSS custody at the time of the reported assault.

Patton has a previous conviction for Domestic Violence on June 25, 2016. Warrants were issued for Patton's arrest for the following offenses: Domestic Violence of a High and Aggravated Nature and Kidnapping.
