CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - New details have emerged in the search for a man who went missing on the Broad River.
Crews will continue the exhaustive search for 34-year-old Keenan Little Tuesday morning on the Broad River Greenway. Witnesses said they last heard Little calling for help on the water Saturday afternoon.
Officials said they don't believe foul play was a factor in his disappearance. His mother and friends are coming together as a rescue mission turns into recovery efforts.
"Broad River Greenway is familiar to Keenan. That the greenway was his meditation place. That's where he went for comfort,” his mother said.
She also tells FOX 46 he’s a pretty popular guy. He went to Crest High School and played football in the Naval Academy.
Authorities said the greenway will remain closed as crews continue to search for Little.
