CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46) - The three people who were arrested after a SWAT situation Friday night, November 18, at a hotel in north Charlotte have been identified.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have charged Daquan Erwin, 17, Vaque Davis, 18, and a 15 year old with possession of stolen firearms and also served them with warrants related to other cases.
Erwin and Davis were charged with possession of marijuana and Erwin and the juvenile were charged with possession of a stolen vehicle.
Erwin and Davis were also charged with one count each of felony breaking and entering and eight counts each of felony larceny of a firearm in connection to the burglary of Bass Pro Shops on Thursday, November 17. That same night they were found responsible for breaking into the Chola's Indian Grill on Weddington Road and have both been charged with an additional count of felony breaking and entering, according to Concord Police.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police responded about 8:04 p.m. to the Days Inn in the 1400 block of W Sugar Creek Road after locating a wanted suspect vehicle.
According to police, the vehicle in question is believed to have been used during a robbery of weapons from the Bass Pro Shop in Concord, NC on Thursday.
Officers attempted to make contact with two of the suspects who were near the vehicle, but say the two immediately went into a hotel room.
After a standoff with SWAT and speaking with negotiators, police say Davis, Erwin and the 15 year old surrendered and were taken into custody without incident.
The hotel's manager tells FOX 46 that no guests are being asked to evacuate from their rooms and that the situation was secure.
