Sheriff: Suspect wanted for breaking and entering on the run

A suspect who is wanted for breaking and entering out of Iredell County is on the run, deputies said. 

Michael Dwaine Davis, 45, is wanted for felony breaking or entering into a building and felony larceny after breaking and entering. 

According to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office, Davis stole several tools, valued at more than $2,100, from inside a resident's carport on Wednesday, April 10. 

Davis reportedly sold several of the stolen tools at a pawn shop in High Point. The store was able to identify Davis to sheriff's deputies. They said Davis came into the pawn shop with another man on April 10 around 2:30 p.m. and sold some tools for cash. 

Detectives went to the pawn shop and recovered the stolen tools and returned them to the victim.
