Shots fired at home of elderly Rock Hill couple

The Rock Hill Police Department says an elderly couple’s home was shot up for the second time in a week. According to the incident report, it happened Wednesday at 5 a.m. on Harrison street.

Marguerite and Marion Moore have lived in their home for 50 years. They woke up to the sound of gunshots and immediately ran for cover. According to the police report, officers found multiple holes in the residence and at least two bullets.

The couple says they were not harmed during the early morning shooting. 70-year-old Marguerite Moore says they ducked in the hallway, fearing for their life.

Marguerite believes the suspects are after her grandson who stays with them. The couple does not plan on staying at their home after the second shooting.

Rock Hill Police says this is still an active investigation with no suspects identified.
