Silver Alert issued for missing 13-year-old North Carolina girl

A Silver Alert has been issued for a missing, endangered teenager out of Wake County, according to the N.C. Center for Missing Persons. 

Folks are asked to be on the lookout for Kayla Walton, 13, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Walton is described as a black female with long black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs 140 pounds.

She was last seen at 5912 Neuse Street in Raleigh, North Carolina wearing a burgundy short sleeve shirt, black jeans and black dress shoes.
