Snow Flurries hit Charlotte, other areas get a little more

Snow flurries fell in Charlotte Sunday morning, just a couple hours ahead of the Panthers playoff game vs. the Seahawks.

The snow isn't expected to stay long in the area. Meteorologist Amanda Cox says the storm bringing precipitation is moving quickly through our area, and the area should dry out before kickoff.

Some parts of South Carolina have seen their first wintery weather of the season.

Forecasters say snow mixed in with the rain Sunday morning in areas around Rock Hill and north of Darlington and Florence.

The National Weather Service says temperatures were above freezing, so little of the snow stuck. Roads remained wet, and there were no major power outages.
