CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46) - A decision could come down this week on whether Officer Brentley Vinson will be facing charges in the Keith Lamont Scott case, according to Spokesperson Ryan Julison for attorney representing Scott's family.
The Scott family will be meeting with the District Attorney's Office on Wednesday morning.
Sources tell FOX 46 Charlotte if there will be charges in the case, they will come down Wednesday morning. It is still being decided if the officer will be charged or not.
Julison said they're anticipating the DA to make a decision on whether Officer Vinson will face charges, but can’t say for certain.
This is the first time the Scott family will potentially be meeting with the DA's Office. At this point, the only family member they know for certain who is attending is Keith Scott’s widow.
