CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - After a mild start to the day we expect record breaking high temperatures Thursday afternoon under sunny skies. The current record high for Thursday, Feb. 7 is 74 degrees which was set back in 1999.
Friday will be a transition day as a cold front swings through during the evening hours. Highs will still be warm but not near as warm as they’ve been. Sunday is when the rude awakening occurs.
Temperatures will snap back to seasonal levels under cloudy skies so get ready to become reacquainted with your winter coats!
