Being a parent can be one of the hardest jobs in the world.

There is no compensation for mothers or fathers for their endless care and long hours. But if a stay-at-home parent were to be paid, how much would they make?

Salary.com tried to answer that very question and picked a handful of jobs that reflect the work parents do every day. The website also determined that stay-at-home moms work more than 90 hours a week.

With that information in mind, the website's salary calculator determined the medium annual salary of a stay-at-home mother in 2018 should be $162,581.00 for the 'hybrid role.'
