CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - Two suspects who police say are responsible for the 2016 murder of Adrian Potts are dead.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg police identified Ferguson Laurent, 22, and Anthony Eugene Gill, 21 as suspects in the case. Detectives say they confirmed that both Laurent and Gill are now deceased.
The pair were suspect in the shooting death of Adrian Potts. Potts, 20, was shot inside an apartment on Collegiate Avenue in University City in June 2016. An altercation had broken out between Potts and two other people resulting in the shooting. Potts was pronounced dead on scene.
Detectives say they are not looking for any additional suspects in the case.
