Swastika spray painted on Jewish family's Charlotte home

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department is investigating after vandals spray painted a derogatory symbol on a south Charlotte family's garage door. 

The incident happened between 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 5 and 6:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5. at a home located in the 10300 block of Sutherby Drive. 

The 48-year-old homeowner called police at 8:35 a.m. Tuesday to notify them that someone had spray painted a Swastika on their garage door. 

Federal partners of CMPD have been notified about this incident. It remains an open, active investigation. No arrests have been made yet.
