CONCORD, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) - A teen has been arrested for shooting a man at a movie theatre on Sunday, according to police.
Bryant Gregory Eaves Jr., 18, has been charged with assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury with intent to kill after William Weldon was injured at the AMC Threatres at Concord Mills around 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 24.
Police say Eaves shot Weldon after they got into an argument over seats. Eaves left the scene with a woman, and police say Eaves and Weldon did not know each other prior to the incident.
Eaves was identified through surveillance video at the movie theatre. He was found at his home in Indian Land , South Carolina on Monday, and was taken into custody.
Eaves was transported to the Lancaster County Detention Center and will appear before a magistrate later on Tuesday to inform the magistrate whether he intends to waive extradition to North Carolina.
