Dozens of teens were involved in a large-scale fight at Carowinds just after midnight, Sunday morning, according to officials.
The fight started inside the park and spilled out into the parking lot. It took security three separate attempts to break everything up. It got to the point where the fight was even happening on the side of a York County Sheriff's cruiser vehicle. A back head light was knocked out.
No arrests were made and there were two minor injuries.
The York County Sheriff's Office says this was an "isolated incident" and does not believe it will need to increase security. Carowinds, however, says it will look into adding more, but that it already beefs up security around "Scarowinds" time.
Carowinds uses private security, CMPD officers and York County deputies.
