Third arrest made after Cornelius man shot in neck

Police in Cornelius have found the third suspect in connection to a shooting that left a man seriously injured. 

On Friday, March 22, officers were called to the 9700 block of Psalms Street around 6:20 p.m. in reference to a n assault wiht a deadly weapon. Upon arrival, they found Caleb Keller with a gunshot wound to the neck. 

He was taken to the hospital and remains in serious condition. During the investigation, police found that the shooting was not random, and that the victim and the three suspects involved knew each other.

Two of the suspects, Brendan McGlynn and Randy Banks, were arrested and charged, but police had to continue searching for a third-- Jacobi McMillan. He had been known to be driving a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix with the NC tag FEH6702.  He was found on Monday, March 25, police say.

McMillan, along with McGlynn and Banks, have been charged with assault with a deadly weapon iwth intent to kill inflighting serious injury and felony conspiracy.
