The person can be seen wearing a black shirt and holding what appears to be a rifle. The person’s face is obscured by a skull graphic.

“@CentralCabarrus The only thing hot about #centralheat is my f****ing gun barrel,” the first tweet reads.

Attached to the second tweet is a picture of a person taking a selfie while wearing a face mask, goggles and hat while holding the weapon.

Concord Police confirmed that they are investigating, but did not have any further details to release on the case.

A spokesperson for Cabarrus County Schools said that they are aware of the threat and are working with police to identify the person responsible for the post.

“Ensuring campus safety and a safe learning environment are priorities for our district and for the school,” said Ronnye P. Boone, Director of Communications for Cabarrus County Schools. "The principal will be sending a Blackboard Connect phone call to parents this afternoon with information. No doubt this is very scary for our students and our staff, and we are taking this matter very seriously and are eager to have it resolved."

Anyone with information is urged to contact the Concord Police Department.
