Two people arrested in robbery, assault of Stanley man

Detectives arrested two men in connection with an assault and robbery of a Stanley man in November. 

Deputies with the Lincoln County Sheriff's Office were called to McIntosh Road on Saturday, Nov. 17 after a man reported he'd been assaulted and cash stolen from his wallet by several people. 

The victim suffered a head wound and was taken to a the hospital for treatment.

Demetrius Damar Anderson, 21, was arrested on one felony count each of robbery with a dangerous weapon and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. He was placed in the Harven A. Crouse Detention Center under a $40,000 secured bond.

Damarius O’Brien Valentine, 22, was arrested on one felony count of aiding and abetting an armed robbery. He was jailed under a $10,000 secured bond.
