Victim in Mount Holly homicide identified

The Medical Examiner's Office has identified the victim of a deadly shooting, according to Mount Holly police. 

Isaac Geovanni Arawo Lorenzo, 30, was found just after 8:00 a.m. in the 400 block of Louise Ave. with what officers thought was a stab wound. 

Lorenzo was taken to CaroMont Regional Medical Center in Gastonia where he was pronounced dead. 

Upon further examination, it was determined that Lorenzo died from one shot to the chest, and he did not appear to have any other injuries. 

The investigation is ongoing, and no arrests have been made at this time.
