Charged: Boatwright and Jones
CHARLOTTE, NC - Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police arrested at least 72 people over six days of riots and protests in Charlotte following the fatal police shooting of Keith Lamont Scott.
The latest round of arrests totaled 15 people from Saturday into Sunday night's protest in Uptown. Eleven of the people arrested were from Charlotte. Four of the individuals were from out of town. Charges ranged from Breaking and Entering, carrying a concealed weapon, Extra Ordinary Event violations and Urinating in Public.

During protests Friday into Saturday, fourteen people were arrested, according to CMPD. At least five of the individuals were from out of town.

Forty-three people were arrested during protests the night of September 21 through early morning of September 22, according to CMPD.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police have identified and/or charged a total of 58 people involved in destruction of property and looting since Tuesday.

On Sunday, October 2, Khalil Wallace was charged for his involvement in property related crimes at the Hornets Team Store during the Charlotte riot.
Wallace was charged with felony breaking and entering, Larceny after breaking and entering, felony conspiracy and injury to personal property.
On Thursday, September 29, Stefon Boatwright and Savanna Lee Jones were charged for their involvement in property related crimes. Officers found and arrested Boatwright for outstanding warrants related to the breaking and entering of Buffalo Wild Wings. He was charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and eerty.ng, felony conspiracy and injury to real property.
Jones was arrested for her role in the breaking and entering at Jimmy John's that happened on September 22, She was charged with felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering and felony conspiracy.
CMPD says they'll continue to identify individuals that engage in violent, destructive behavior.
On September 22, officers located video footage of a man kicking in the doors of the Hyatt Hotel in the 400 block of East Trade Street. Investigators confirmed the identity of that man to be Ian Bowzer of Charlotte. He was arrested and charged with Injury to Real Property.
On September 22, officers said several people broke into the Jimmy Johns at 200 South Tryon Street. Investigators confirmed the identities of three people:
Dejuante Marina is wanted on numerous charges in connection with damage and looting at Jimmy Johns in Uptown.
Daniel Baker is jailed on numerous charges in connection with damage and looting at Jimmy Johns.
Jamil Gill, 23, is wanted on numerous charges in connection with damage and looting at Jimmy Johns in Uptown.
Marcellis McKenzie is wanted on numerous charges in connection with damage and looting at Buffalo Wild Wings in the 400 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
CMPD said it will continue to identify individuals that engaged in violent destructive behavior.
