WATCH: Lion at Rowan County zoo obsessed with 14-month-old girl

Simba is that you?

A curious lion just couldn't get enough of a 14-month-old visitor this past weekend at a local zoo in Rowan County, North Carolina.

The family decided to visit Tiger World in Rockwell for the first time on Saturday, March 10 and got quite the surprise when they stopped to observe the lions.

One playful lion, "Michael", immediately ran over to the glass when it spotted 14-month-old Josie. The interaction shocked the family - to say the least!

"We were very surprised. The lion was across the enclosure and saw my daughter standing at the glass and ran over and starting jumping and scratching, and licked the glass," Caity Finley told FOX 46 Charlotte.

The family was able to capture the moment between "Micheal" and Josie on camera. Was it love at first sight?

"He did not do this with any other baby that came up to him!" Finley said. "He would only do it with my daughter. It was a very cool experience and we are going back very soon."
