Broadcaster Chris Kroeger, Charlotte Hornets part ways

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (FOX 46 CHARLOTTE) -- Radio broadcaster Chris Kroeger and the Charlotte Hornets have parted ways.

Kroeger joined the organization at the start of the 2018-2019 season. He was with WFNZ Radio before then.

Additional details on Kroger's departure were not released.

Steve Martin, who retired after the 2017-18 NBA season, will serve as the Hornets radio play-by-play broadcaster for the remaining eight regular-season games, starting Friday night in Los Angeles, the team said.
