Cam Newton experiencing shoulder pain, soreness

Cam Newton is dealing with shoulder soreness on his throwing arm.

Cam and the coaching staff won't admit his shoulder has affected the play-calling or the lack of downfield throws, but anyone that's watched Cam when he's healthy knows his recent throws have been lacking a lot of zip.

They even had to take him out on the final play of the game against the Bucs because he couldn't reach the end zone on the hail Mary—a 50-yard pass that he makes with ease when healthy.

When talking to him on Wednesday, it took a few questions to get him to be a little more honest about the pain, but he will be good to go in Cleveland despite the shoulder issue.
