Cold is the word the next couple days!

The afternoon Tuesday is dry with a slow increase in sunshine. Wednesday morning looks to be the coldest, with lows in the teens & 20s, and wind chills below zero in the mountains!

A Freeze Watch will take effect Tuesday night for Chesterfield and Lancaster counties.

After another cold Thursday morning, temps will moderate the rest of the week and weekend. Sunshine rules Wednesday and Thursday -- great! Then it's back to rain chances Friday through the weekend.

Today: Cold start, but plenty of sunshine. Breezy. High: 48

Wednesday: Very cold wind chills. Low: 24. High: 46.
