Fog makes way for afternoon sun, warm temps

Fog is expected to be an issue on Sunday morning in Charlotte so driving visibility could be affected.

A few showers are stil hanging around but should be clearing out and by 2 or 3 p.m. today the sun should come out. It is currently 51 in Boone.

Temperatures in the Queen City this afternoon are expected to crack 70 with a high of 74 in chesterfield towards the mountain region.

Tonight's sunset will take place a bit later than usual due to Daylight Saving Time.

Dry weather is expected this week, which is welcome after so much rain.
