CHARLOTTE, NC (FOX 46) - Two storms are set to impact the Carolinas this week.
The first storm will come Monday night into Tuesday morning and the second will swing through on Wednesday.
Rainfall totals by Thursday will likely be between 1-2" in the piedmont with 3-5" possible in the mountains and foothills.
Windy conditions will prevail with the first storm system on Tuesday with 50 mph wind gusts possible. There is a low end risk for severe storms on Tuesday as well.
Flooding and mudslides will become a concern Wednesday in the mountains as heavy rain will pile up.
